Fabric & Product Compliance

Our garments are made from high-quality fabric blends, typically consisting of 95% viscose (rayon) from bamboo and 5% spandex or polyester, with a fabric weight ranging between approximately 190–220 GSM depending on the design and production batch.

In accordance with the Textile Labelling Act and the Textile Labelling and Advertising Regulations, fibre content is accurately described using legally recognized terminology. While derived from bamboo, the fibre is processed into viscose or rayon and is labelled accordingly.

All textile products are labelled to comply with applicable Canadian requirements, including:

  • fibre content disclosure
  • dealer identity (where applicable)
  • country of origin
  • care instructions (recommended)

Michif & Sash Baby Co. makes reasonable efforts to ensure all products meet applicable safety and labelling requirements under Canadian law, including relevant provisions of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act and guidance issued by Health Canada.

Products are designed for comfort and everyday wear; however, adult supervision is recommended at all times when infants and young children are wearing garments.
